A bit about me
I'm never very good about writing about myself, I always feel odd doing it. So, I'll do my best. I'm Holly or MoonChylde an online nickname I've gone by for years! :) I'm 30-something and married to my very best friend Scott. We've been together for 10yrs and married for 3. Together we have one son, Quinn who will be 4 in September. He is the light of my life, we worked very hard to have him, after 2 miscarriages and years of wondering if it would every happen he finally arrived and made us the happiest parents ever. I am also step-mom to 2 more boys, Ian who is 12 and Jacob who is 9.
I work full-time overnights in a residential unit for chemically dependent teens. I love my job and after 3 1/2yrs the overnights are almost 2nd nature to me. I really don't mind them too much except when it comes to switching back to a 'normal' schedule on my days off to spend with the family!
I've had a passion for photography since I was a kid and have decided in the past year or so that I really want to start pursuing that. So, I'm doing what I can when I can to build up those skills and something for a portfolio! I'm also a longtime scrapper, started as a paper scrapper back in '98 and been digi-scrapping for the past couple years. I love to read and I'm even a writer when I'm in the mood and have the time!
My blog is a work in progress, I've been trying to get into blogging for a couple years and do my best with the time I have. I've decided to start gradually by doing a couple posts a week to get into a routine. So far here lately I've been doing good!
