This weeks first picture is for Trendy Treehuse and Shutter Love Tuesdays. The theme this week is Eyelashes! LOVE little ones and their beautiful long lashes! (I think I'm a bit jealous)

Next up is Sweet Shot Tuesday over at My 3 Boybarians. This weekend was Super Bowl weekend and while for many that is always a big day, for us it was even bigger this year since my husbands team, The Green Bay Packers were playing! And I might add, WON!!! WOOT :-D So for the special day I made some brownies and did a little decorating, I had planned much more but I woke up Saturday with a terrible migraine and ended up just throwing these together Sunday.

Not the best decorating, but they were cute and yummy!

This is a picture of the centerpiece I got for my mom for Christmas, the candles are to honor my father who passed July 15 2009 & my grandmother (moms mom) who passed February 14 2007.

I'm really gonna try to keep up with these posts again! I'm hoping to use this to help my photography move up a level or 2! ;) Because I am no where near some of these other photographers.

This was one of my first shots taken with my new Canon 50mm 1.8 lens, I have some work to do on getting the focus just right!

Sweet Shot Tuesday

This is my first time participating in Sweet Shot Tuesday through My3Boybarians. I am trying to focus on my photography and learning as much as I can!

This past week we've had a lot of rain, Friday morning we had flash flood warnings and a number of roads coming into Sioux Falls from the South were all under water! We went out and got a few shots of some areas.

This is Lake Alvin State Park South of Sioux Falls, still closed as of today!
